situated immediately adjacent to Burwood's shopping precinct, an existing space was converted to accommodate 10 consultation rooms with a dermatologic surgery theatre as an added extension. Direct circulation to and from the waiting room attains privacy and confidentiality for the patients while the simplicity of the space evokes a calming experience
the project forms its distinctive character with careful consideration of colours, textures and lighting to carry the notion of comfort and practicality. Double-loaded corridors were integral in achieving space efficiency by separating the open-plan arrival from the compartmentalised medical rooms
