this dental clinic project is located within Westfield Doncaster. Design strategies were closely examined to maximise shopfront exposure in this competitive environment. The site is located at a busy intersection between the local supermarket and carpark entrance. The inward slanting shopfront is a direct response to its site condition, which allows for branding exposure for passing shopaholics. The patient waiting area is clearly defined upon entry into a calm atmosphere. Back-of-house activities is designed to be visually concealed from waiting patients. Our rejection of the mainstream typology of ‘clinic design’ has led to this new interior of modest beauty through sculptural form and material
